Proudly Serving Spartanburg and Surrounding Areas

Lindsay W. McKenzie

M.A./Ed. S., NHA, CRCFA – Executive Director
Lindsay Mckenzie

As a dually licensed Assisted Living and Nursing Home Administrator, Lindsay McKenzie brings years of operational residential care experience and a desire to serve Seniors. Passionate about memory care concerns and with her Master’s work largely focusing on the process of aging, Lindsay believes in a multidimensional wellness approach to caring for Seniors facing various diagnoses and aging associated challenges.

A native of Clyo, Georgia Lindsay came to the upstate in 2005 to pursue a Bachelor Degree at Converse College and continued her education receiving both a Masters and Education Specialist Degree from Gardner-Webb University in 2011.

After 8 years of serving seniors in Assisted Living and Nursing Home settings, Lindsay recognized the need for more accessible and financially feasible community based services in the Upstate. After talking with the owners of Elite Home Care regarding their desire to serve more Seniors in an innovative way-the idea of Elite Senior Day Center was born.
When away from work Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children, volunteering with her Church, cooking, or crafting.

Andrew Martin

RN BSN – Director of Nursing
Andrew Martin

A happily married husband and father, Andrew’s career started as an ER nurse and went on to include a stint as a clinical coordinator and Nursing Administrative Supervisor of Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. It was during his time at the hospital that Andrew observed too many patients that could have avoided a stay in the hospital if they had more care at home. Familiar with Home Health and Hospice, he knew those programs provided a great service and knowledgeable staff but were limited to very short occasional home visits.  Elite Home Care was born to fill in the gaps when neither family, Home Health nor Hospice could be there. Andrew likes to think of our staff “Like your surrogate family with medical training” and will be by your side as long as you need and want us there. Andrew has dedicated his education and career to the safety and well-being of others and through Elite Home Care that vision will continue.
